Marketing Plan: Hunley, Inc.

Introduction Charles Hunley III (C.W. III), president of Hunley, Inc., aims to increase Hunley’s sales by 10% in 2018. He needed to decide whether Hunley wanted to use different marketing and advertising to position itself in order to ensure that shipments of either line of rods could reach stores in time for the peak 2018 season. Marketing in the news: Zara

Image
I decided to write about Zara, one of the largest apparel retailers in the world, and the company's marketing strategies. Although I am a huge fan of Zara due to the speciality of design and quality, I have not seen as many advertisements as other apparel retailers on online platforms or social media, as well as why I am obsessed with this brand. I also realized Zara has many loyal customers who always stop by the store every time they go shopping, and there are many customers who visit the store on purposely. At this time, I wondered how Zara succeeded in attracting customers. Zara gives a scarcity of items being out of stock soon to their customers by producing limited amounts of products. It is really impressive that they produce limited amount of items even though they could make more profits by producing popular lines, and I think this makes people pay more attention to the brand. Zara comes up with new patterns throughout the year which attracts customers to visit the stores...

Minji's marketing post

Image
Hello y'all! My name is Minji Kim, originally from Korea, and I'm a student at Oregon State University and enrolled in dual enrollment with Linn Benton Community College. I'm majoring in marketing and am passionate about seeing various marketing strategies used around the world. I used to go to a college in Korea with an English Literature major and decided to study abroad in the U.S because I found a value in myself that I really enjoy adopting diver cultures and be engaged with people with different backgrounds when I studied academic English in New York in 2018. The reason why I switched my major is that I have inspired by fancy electronic boards in Time Square street when I stayed in New York City for seven months. Obviously, Manhattan is one of the most gorgeous places in the world. It's super bright during the night which makes you forget the passing of time. I can't wait to work in the marketing area after I finish my degree, and all marketing classes from bo...
